Root Canal Therapy & Baby Root Canals

Root canal treatments need to be performed when an infection occurs inside a tooth. To treat these infections, a small hole must be created in the top of the tooth so that the infected dental pulp can be removed, and the tooth can be cleaned and sealed. Then, a dental restoration like a crown is placed over the tooth to restore its appearance and protect it from further damage. Our experienced team can perform root canal treatments on both adult teeth and baby teeth and restore them to a healthy state.

Dental Extractions

Dental extractions are performed for a variety of reasons. While we always want our patients to keep their natural teeth whenever possible, there are some circumstances in which a gentle tooth extraction procedure is the best option for a child’s treatment plan. Common reasons for dental extractions include:

  • Tooth Crowding Other Teeth
  • Decayed or Damaged Teeth
  • Impacted Baby Teeth
  • Baby Tooth That Refuses to Come Out
  • Orthodontic Plan Requires It

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom teeth removal is often recommended for patients in their late teens or early twenties, and our team can help you decide the ideal age for your child to schedule their wisdom tooth removal if it’s necessary. Wisdom teeth are the third set of molars on the jaw, and if they grow in incorrectly or don’t have enough room to grow in at all, they can cause a variety of different dental issues. Whether your child has been complaining about pain in the back of their jaw or you want to know if they may need a wisdom tooth removal, our team can take X-rays and make a recommendation.
